Closerie des Terres
Closerie des Terres is an organic wine estate located in the beautiful rolling hills of the Réolais region, north of Marmande, between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers in southwest France.
Set across 5 hectares of vineyards, the estate was born from the meeting of two neighbours who became friends: Frédéric Auriol, who settled in the village of Camiran in 2017, and Simon Deleporte, an experienced winemaker and cellar master from the region.
United by the same passion for nature and respect for the land, they define themselves as artisan winemakers. Every vineyard plot and every cuvée receives meticulous care and attention, with a constant pursuit of excellence. Producing wines in limited quantities, Closerie des Terres crafts authentic organic wines that express the unique character of their terroir.
Between sun and moon
At Closerie des Terres, respect for nature, the rhythm of the seasons and agroecology are at the heart of our philosophy.
Through vineyard regeneration, the use of cover crops, careful soil management, no herbicides and extensive hand work, we are gradually restoring the vines’ ability to produce healthy, natural grapes.
In our quest to create a harmonious and sustainable ecosystem, we also embrace practices inspired by biodynamic farming.

Breaking free from tradition
From the very beginning, our approach has been to craft wines that reflect who we are — wines we truly love, without being limited by the traditional rules of an appellation. Whether through the choice of unique grape varieties or innovative winemaking techniques, we create a surprising range of Vin de France wines, including:
- Ice wine : an original sweet wine made from whole frozen grape clusters pressed after freezing in a cold chamber
- Roussanne : A dry white wine made from this emblematic southern French grape variety, planted in 2019 in anticipation of increasingly frequent heatwaves
- Blanc de noir : A dry white wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, using a specific winemaking approach that brings richness, texture and a beautifully smooth mouthfeel
- Natural wine : A red wine crafted with indigenous yeasts, without added sulphites and without filtration, allowing the true expression of the terroir
